Dual Sidewall Designs
Each Grappler has two sidewall designs so you can choose how your tyres look. On the Nitto Terra Grappler®, one side has solid-outlined lettering and the other has striped lettering. Nitto's ability to produce exceptionally uniform off-road tyres with this feature is an engineering feat as even small weight imbalances can cause unwanted vibrations.
Multi-Purpose Tread
Tread pattern void ratio has been balanced for off-road traction and on-road handling. Reinforced coupling joints between the outermost and central tread blocks of the Nitto Terra Grappler® minimise excessive tread flex, maximising traction and steering response while encouraging even wear.
High-Density Siping
Siping helps resist hydroplaning by cutting through pockets of water on road surfaces. Deep sipes and lateral voids on the Nitto Terra Grappler® effectively channel water away to maximise wet traction.
All-Terrain Versatility
Angled lateral voids channel water away in wet conditions and provide forward stability in dry conditions.
Off-Road Performance
Staggered shoulder lugs on the Nitto Terra Grappler® provide additional biting edges in off-road conditions, especially in deep sand and loose dirt.
